Side Dish - Bean Salad

½ cup salad oil
½ cup vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
 ½ cup minced onion
1 t salt
 ½ t pepper
 
Dissolve sugar in rest of ingredients. Pour over wax beans, green beans, garbanzos, kidneys, any bean you like and/or chopped pepper. Add pimentos for color. Stir now and then to marinate all beans. This is best if left to set for 1-2 days in the refrigerator and keeps for a long time.
